What Is IC Konsole

IC Konsole is the participation intelligence engine at the core of Institutional Charts. Rather than showing you raw price or lagging indicators, it scans 400+ perpetual futures markets in real time and surfaces only the assets where institutional participation is actually building.

Every 60 seconds, IC Konsole runs a sweep across every monitored asset. It measures participation momentum, relative strength versus Bitcoin, and volume behaviour — then assigns each qualifying asset a conviction tier (A+, B+, or C+). The result: instead of monitoring hundreds of charts manually, you see exactly where capital is flowing — before the move expands.

How the Scanner Works
Participation Momentum

IC Konsole measures participation momentum (P) — the rate at which institutional activity is growing relative to its own historical average. An asset posting 20x its normal participation is far more significant than one with high absolute volume. The D-P score measures the same across the full day, providing a dual-timeframe view of conviction.

The Bitcoin Benchmark

Every asset is measured against Bitcoin in real time. The (R) score shows BTC-relative momentum — positive means outperforming. The (B) score shows the beta of the move versus BTC. Altcoins do not move in isolation. IC Konsole shows you which assets are leading versus simply riding a market-wide move.

Beta: The Amplification Engine

Beta is not a risk to be minimized in IC Konsole — it is a feature. When BTC is trending and an asset registers A+, beta amplifies the market tailwind. The healthy range for A+ is 1.5x–3.0x BTC beta. Below 1.5x, institutional actors may not be truly engaged. Above 3.0x, the setup becomes too reactive to BTC reversals.

Liquidity & Bank Holidays

IC Konsole flags active bank holidays for JP, FR, US, AU, and GB. When major financial centres are offline, participation thins and moves become unreliable. You will always know the quality of conditions you are trading in before you size into a position.

1ST SEEN vs LAST SEEN

1ST SEEN marks the first time an asset triggered a qualifying signal in the current window. LAST SEEN updates only when a genuine new qualifying event occurs — a new 15-minute candle meeting the threshold, or a tier upgrade. It never advances simply because the 60-second scan re-checks an unchanged row.

Reading the Konsole

Every row in IC Konsole represents an asset that has triggered a qualifying participation signal. Here is what each column tells you:

Column Name What It Means
TIERSignal GradeQualifying tier: A+ = highest conviction / C+ = early stage
PParticipationCurrent participation vs historical average. 10x = 10x above normal.
D-PDaily ParticipationToday's cumulative participation vs the daily baseline
(R) %Relative StrengthBTC-relative momentum. Positive = outperforming Bitcoin right now
(B)Beta ScoreHow strongly the asset moves vs BTC. A+ sweet spot: 1.5–3.0x
1ST SEENFirst SignalWhen this asset first qualified in the current reset window
LAST SEENLast EventWhen a genuine new qualifying candle or tier upgrade last occurred

Signal Tiers

IC Konsole uses three conviction tiers. Each reflects a different threshold of institutional participation, BTC alignment, and beta requirements. Tiers can upgrade or downgrade across candles — IC Konsole tracks the full progression.

Tier Signal Beta Range Description
A+ Strong BTC 1.5x – 3.0x Highest conviction. 15m momentum accelerating past daily floor with BTC sync (correlation r > 0.50). Institutional accumulation phase. High follow-through probability. Priority long bias.
B+ Moderate ≥ 0.8x BTC ≥ 0.8x Significant daily institutional support with BTC alignment. Sustained participation — less explosive than A+ but consistent. Moderate long bias, size accordingly.
C+ Speculative, no BTC sync required Idiosyncratic momentum accelerating past daily floor. Asset moving on its own narrative. Potential early-rotation signal. Size small. Confirm catalyst before entry.
Tier Progression: An asset may appear as C+ and upgrade to B+ or A+ on subsequent 15-minute candles as participation intensifies. Assets that hold A+ across multiple consecutive candles represent the highest conviction setups in the scan.
Persistent Signals: When an asset's 1ST SEEN date is from a prior session, institutional interest has sustained across multiple market cycles. These multi-session signals carry the highest trust rating in IC Konsole — capital has not rotated out.

Filters
Minimum Market Cap

The market cap slider filters out assets below your chosen threshold. Use 250M+ for liquid, institutional-grade assets. Lower the threshold for emerging opportunities in smaller caps. Match the filter to your risk profile.

Tiers (A+ / B+ / C+)

Toggle tiers independently. For a focused, high-conviction view run A+ only. Enable all three for a full discovery sweep. Note that C+ signals require additional confirmation before entry.

Bank Holiday

Do not ignore this flag. JP, FR, US, AU, and GB holidays all degrade participation quality. IC Konsole flags active holidays automatically. Signals generated during thin conditions carry lower reliability. Size down or stand aside during flagged sessions.

06
Using IC Konsole
Step 1 — Session Open Sweep

Open IC Konsole at the start of your session. Check which assets are signalling and at which tier. Note 1ST SEEN — assets flagged from a prior session carry sustained institutional interest and are your highest-priority watch candidates.

Step 2 — Score-Based Prioritisation

Sort by (B) or (R) % to identify the strongest BTC-relative movers. The highest-quality combination is: A+ tier + (R) > 0.35 + (B) between 1.5x and 3.0x. This is the ICI sweet spot — institutional accumulation in a market-aligned asset with healthy amplification.

Step 3 — Chart Confirmation

IC Konsole surfaces the asset — the chart confirms the setup. Click Chart on any row to open the asset directly in Institutional Charts. Look for structure confluence: support zones, FVGs, breakout levels. The signal tells you where to look. Price action tells you when to enter.

Step 4 — Check Conditions

Always verify the Bank Holiday flag and session quality before sizing in. Low-participation windows produce unreliable moves. Asian session signals carry lower institutional volume than London or New York opens. Check before you size.

Step 5 — Size for Beta

IC Konsole long setups carry beta exposure. Size must account for amplified volatility. A+ at 1.5–2.0x beta: standard size. A+ at 2.0–3.0x beta: reduce by 20–30%. B+: standard to reduced. C+: speculative — size small.

07
Beta Sizing Guide

Beta amplifies both gains and losses. Respect it. The following sizing framework applies to all IC Konsole long setups:

Signal / Beta Position Sizing Guidance
A+ · beta 1.5x – 2.0x Standard position size. High conviction, manageable beta.
A+ · beta 2.0x – 3.0x Reduce size 20–30%. Valid setup — beta amplifies the cost of being wrong.
A+ · beta > 3.0x Treat with caution. Highly reactive to BTC reversals. Reduce further.
B+ · beta ≥ 0.8x Standard to reduced. Assess the individual asset volatility profile.
C+ · no BTC sync Speculative. Smallest size. Confirm idiosyncratic catalyst before entry.

Important Notes
Signals Are Not Trade Calls

IC Konsole tells you where participation is building. It does not tell you when to enter or exit. Always combine the signal with price action analysis, stop placement, and risk management. The best signal in the world is worthless without defined entry, stop, and target parameters.

C+ Requires Patience

C+ is an early alert, not a confirmed setup. No BTC sync is required for C+, meaning the asset may be moving on isolated narrative. Wait for tier upgrade or chart structure confluence before entering. C+ is for watching, not market ordering.

Negative (R) at Any Tier

An asset can reach A+ participation but show negative (R) and (B). This means participation is elevated but the asset is underperforming Bitcoin — a potential distribution or counter-trend signal. These setups carry significantly higher risk and should not be treated as standard long entries.

Context Defines the Trade Type

Signal quality alone does not determine how you manage a trade. A strong B+ signal on a lower cap asset late in a trend calls for a quick scalp and a defined exit target. The same signal on a high cap asset early in a trend can be held for a significantly larger move. Always read the macro context alongside the signal.

IC Konsole does not replace: price action analysis, risk management, macro context assessment, or execution discipline. It is a conviction filter — not a complete trading system.

IC Konsole identifies the moments when institutional participation and market structure align — and in crypto, that alignment almost always points in one direction.
