Common questions

Is IC safe to run on my machine? What does it access?

IC is a desktop-native app that runs locally on your machine. It connects directly to exchange public market data APIs (websockets) — the same feeds used by any trading terminal. It does not access your exchange accounts, does not require API keys with trade permissions, and does not transmit your data to IC servers. Your market data stays on your machine. IC does not store usage data or behavioral data once you're using the platform.

I downloaded the app. Do I need the license key before I can open it?

Yes — the app requires a valid license key to run. The key is delivered by email after your order is processed. On Windows, install from the Microsoft Store; on macOS, use our download page. If you installed before receiving your key, wait for the email. Check your spam folder. If it hasn't arrived within 4 hours of a paid order, open a ticket in the Discord: discord.gg/rk9Se5wCAD

What does "Request Indicators" mean exactly?

Pro and Founder members can submit indicator requests — specific calculations, visualizations, or analytical tools they want added to the platform. Other paying members vote on submitted requests. Requests that reach sufficient votes get built and shipped to all users. The community decides the roadmap; IC builds what gets traction. This is how the platform evolves without guessing what traders actually need.

How many Founder seats are left?

Founder licenses are hard-capped at 100 seats at $249 lifetime. Currently 93 seats remain. After the first 100 are claimed, the Founder price moves permanently to $499 lifetime. There is no countdown — when they're gone, the price changes. If you're considering it, the math is straightforward.

Is futures data available everywhere?

Futures data regional availability varies, depending on location.

Is IC providing investment advice or trading signals?

No. IC is a data aggregation and visualization platform. IC Konsole surfaces conviction signal — it classifies where institutional participation appears to be concentrated based on market data. It does not tell you when to buy or sell. All data is sourced from publicly available exchange feeds. IC does not provide investment advice, trading signals, or financial recommendations of any kind.
